Koala & Joey
Koalas are some of the cutest marsupials in the world, known for their sleepy disposition and cuddly appearance. These adorable creatures spend most of their day dozing in the eucalyptus trees, which is their primary food source. Koalas are unique in that they have a specialized digestive system that allows them to break down the tough eucalyptus leaves that other animals can't. But what really melts our hearts are their joeys! Baby koalas are called joeys and are born after only 35 days of gestation. At birth, they are only about the size of a jellybean, and they spend the first six months of their life nestled in their mother's pouch. Once they are old enough, they will cling to their mother's back as she goes about her day, eventually venturing out on their own. Our Koala woodlet captures the adorable and endearing nature of these beloved animals. Making Fun, one woodlet at a time.
